A Day of Connections and Impact in Kingston Upon Thames

On the 25th of November 2024, our community engagement team embarked on an impactful day of outreach and collaboration in Kingston upon Thames, London. Their mission was to strengthen relationships, forge new connections, and extend the reach of the Inspiring Leadership Foundation (ILF).
The day began with networking alongside professionals from the Royal Borough of Kingston, where discussions centred around building referrals and identifying potential ambassadors who could champion ILF’s vision. This collaborative engagement opened doors to further opportunities for the foundation’s growth and advocacy efforts.
A key highlight was a meeting with Jiska Stieler, coordinator of the Voice of Hope Women’s Hub. Together, we explored ways to collaborate in supporting vulnerable women and girls. This promising partnership aims to leverage ILF’s services to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
Our efforts continued at Kingston’s Jobcentre, where we discussed displaying ILF’s services on their job advertisement platform, broadening our visibility and outreach. This will be followed up by a presentation to Kingston’s Jobcentre work coaches. Throughout the day, we distributed informational materials to a multitude of organisations, as well as to the local library, ensuring our resources are accessible to the community.
This productive day exemplifies the power of collaboration and shared purpose. By strengthening connections and forming new alliances, we’re taking meaningful steps towards empowering women and girls, and building the referrals that further the Inspiring Leadership Foundation’s mission.
