International Women’s Day 2021

We would like to thank all those that attended our #InternationalWomensDay event. International Women’s Day is one that is close to our hearts: a day to celebrate the achievements of the trailblazers that altered the landscape so the women of today can thrive.

There is also more work to be done to achieve greater gender equality in our organisations and communities. It is in our communities that the Inspiring Leadership Foundation plays a critical role, helping to inspire and empower people from some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable backgrounds in the UK and internationally.

Whilst there is extensive evidence to show that women are disproportionately affected by many issues, there is also strong evidence to show that this diminishes proportionally to their financial inclusion. What is good for gender equality is good for the economy and society as a whole.

Therefore, we #choosetochallenge the socio-economic barriers to drive greater social mobility and gender equality by:

3. Mobilising an extensive network of talented leaders that care deeply and volunteer experience, time and assets.
4. Collaborating for multi-agency partnering to join the dots across services and bridging the gaps as people’ transition into the next phase in their lives. This enables long-term and sustainable outcomes for our beneficiaries, communities and the economy as a whole.
